I know everyone was looking for a bit of breathing room during this between season period, but it doesn't look like that is happening in either Breckenridge or Summit County. Currently, there are 85 residential, 17 commercial and 3 land listings active in Breckenridge real estate listings, just a slight drop since my last report. Summit county real estate has 47 residential, 0 commercial and 5 Summit County land listings active as of this writing. This is also a slight drop since last month. The number of sold tops last months activity. Breckenridge saw 31 units sold over 24 from the previous time period and Copper saw 21 residential sold over 11 during the previous time period. During the past month, half of the sold units were in New Village and reports are that Sellers are starting to actually make a profit which is great news. Breckenridge, according to one source at Summit County, is the source for their booming Summit County Colorado real estate market! The huge increase in market values in Breckenridge over the last several years has led some consumers to take a more favorable look at Summit county! The new Summit County new construction developments here in Breckenridge are nearing completion and they look fantastic! Come take a look! The early snows and early ski area openings are probably going to mean that the ski crowds are going to be arriving early this year, so hang on to your hats, the winter Buyers are on their way!
